Breaking-In
DM Training’s primary objective is to break-in horses for racing, sport and pleasure.
Sporthorses
We understand the needs of breeders and trainers and are adaptable to suit your requirements. We retain long term relationship with our clients; which allows their horses the best start to their riding career.
Racehorses
To help win races, DM Training provides a solid foundation for the young athlete to work from. We are happy to work in with introducing new breakers to riding staff in order to establish confidence in the association.
On-Site Handling
Foal Handling
Foals are very quick learners so it is important that their initial lessons are taught correctly. David has had experience catching all sorts of foals and wild horses all with great, low stress results.
Floating and Truck Loading
From foals to older horses that have had a fright, David’s patient approach helps your horse to gain confidence in all aspects of floating.
Other Possibilities
With horses being unique you never know what problem you may come up against! If you are stuck for ideas on what to do, together we can work out an achievable solution.
Lessons
With a broad background of training, riding and competing David can give lessons from Beginners through to advanced riders - in a language you can understand! The best place to start learning is at the beginning. Once you have your foundations set, there is no limit as to what you can achieve.
Lessons are available as individual or a group.
Farriery
DM Training has a farrier service that will take care of your horses feet.
Agistment
With a selection of flat, rolling and hill paddocks, your horse will benefit from being at DM Training.
